In this video, we will look into the antitrust aspects of syndicated loans and why they are unlikely to raise antitrust concerns, unless intentionally manipulated. Syndicated loans have become very popular among borrowers and lenders when the requested amounts exceed a single lender's appetite, and the lender seeks an alternative to bonds and shares. However, antitrust enforcers have taken an interest in the area, but this is unwarranted, at least not in the EU, as outlined in the video.
